NEW! Vinarium Zipline

The majority of ziplines in Slovenia is located in a mountainous area, which makes the zipline in Lendavske gorice the first in the eastern part of the country and the first in Slovenia to have two parallel steel cables, so that two visitors can descend at the same time. The slightly more than 500-meter-long steel cables allow descending between 50 and 60 kilometers per hour at the fastest point. 

With the adrenaline-fueled descent down the zipline, the Municipality of Lendava is upgrading the offer of the Lendava Vinarium lookout tower in Lendavske gorice, addressing active outdoor lovers and adrenaline junkies. The aim of the project is to increase interest in the lookout tower, which has been visited by about half a million visitors since its opening six years ago.

At the opening ceremony, the Mayor of the Municipality of Lendava, Janez Magyar, presented the development vision and projects in the field of tourism: "The Municipality of Lendava gives important emphasis to the development of green tourism in the local community. In recent years, the offer of the Vinarium lookout tower has been developed and upgraded with various projects. With new tourist products that offer more active and diverse experiences, we want to increase interest in the tower, and offer our guests the highest quality and unforgettable experience."
