Ljubljana Gourmet Cup is back
After a one-year break, Ljubljana Gourmet Cup, the ski and culinary get-together, returns to Krvavec on March 14.
For the sixth time in a row, the traditional ski and culinary get-together, Ljubljana Gourmet Cup, is taking place at Krvavec ski resort on March 14. It is organized by Jezeršek Catering in partnership with Visit Ljubljana, Krvavec ski resort and Koželj Wines. The event brings together the faces of the Slovenian hospitality scene, among them top chefs, young talents, Slovenian winemakers and local suppliers, culinary journalists and culinary lovers at heart and soul.
This year, the dishes will be prepared by the young talents from as many as seven catering and tourism schools under the mentorship of renowned Slovenia chefs, including Uroš Štefelin (Hiša Linhart), Davor Družinec (Astoria Hotel), Igor Jagodic (Strelec), Izidor Kržišnik (Landerik), Sebastjan Plevčak (Restaurant Sedem), Rok Martinčič (Gostilna Jež) and the finalist of the MasterChef Slovenia cooking competition Žiga Gabrovec (Žigola).
