What songs would top Styrian wines sing if they were rock stars in a bottle? And what is the favourite music of the rockiest and most uncontrollable top chef from Maribor David Vračko? This and much more in the new adventure in Maribor, a perfect blend of great tastes and rock'n'roll music.
Maribor Tourist Board and local tourism and catering providers have joined forces and created a new product, which perfectly combines the very best bits of local gastronomy and rock'n'roll songs. Maribor was a rebellious rock capital in the 1960s and this has now been brought to life in this new experience: on plates, in glasses and in the heart, where good old rock belongs. You will have a chance to taste top wines and dishes by renowned Maribor chefs and restaurants, all nicely blended with the rock 'n' roll music from the time when Maribor was the capital of Slovenian rock.
The tour takes place every Friday at 10 am, October-December (on all other dates by request). Prices vary, according to the number of persons, for 2-4 persons: 130,00 EUR/person, for groups from 5-8: 120,00 EUR/person.
