The first ever Spartan Race to be held in Kranjska Gora this weekend

Spartan Race Kranjska Gora hosted by I feel Slovenia is part of the renowned races,  in which television host James Corden and Prince Harry also competed. One of the biggest stars of this sports, who is also the current world champion, is the Slovenian athlete and astrophysicist Rea Kolbl.

This year, the race will take place on the slopes behind the hotels in Kranjska Gora, so that spectators will be able to see the competitors throughout the entire course.

The Kranjska Gora challenge will also be the first race in the history of the Spartan Race with a double start - the competitors will be able to go on the track twice. A better result will count at the end. An additional attraction of the race in one of the most beautiful sceneries is also that this race will bring the best tickets for the Spartan World Championship in Abu Dhabi.

Spartan Race is a leader in the sport of obstacle racing, offering open heats for all fitness levels, as well as competitive and elite heats for those with something more to prove. The first of its kind to feature timing and global rankings, Spartan Race provides a proving ground for beginner and professional obstacle racers looking to test themselves in new ways across the world. With over 200 competitions a year, it is one of the largest sports movements and communities of competitors, connected by a passion for movement, new challenges and pushing its own boundaries. 

The Slovenian Tourist Board participates in major international sporting events, which are an excellent opportunity to raise the profile and reputation of Slovenia as a tourist destination, especially for active recreation and preparation of athletes, while positioning our country as an excellent host of the most demanding sporting events. As part of the Spartan Race Kranjska Gora hosted by I feel Slovenia, Slovenia will be presented in an promotional video on the live stream, which is expected to be watched by more than 2 million viewers. The visibility of Slovenia will also be strongly recognized through the implementation of the I feel Slovenia brand on the venue of the event, including on the track itself, along the track and on other surfaces of the event space throughout the event.
