My way of taking a family trip

Give your family members a break from electronic devices and head out into nature together. Slovenia is criss-crossed with hiking and mountain trails. If you want to see natural and cultural treasures and learn about the life and work of people living in a certain region, then we recommend that you choose one of the numerous themed trails. To help you decide, we collected a few tips on where to hike with your youngsters.

Soča Trail

Take a walk in the kingdom of the Goldenhorn and see the beauty of the Triglav National Park. Follow the emerald Soča River from its spring to Bovec. You will be enchanted on the 25-kilometre trail by the wild beauty of the Trenta Valley, hidden natural gems such as the gorges of the Mlinarica and the Soča, and the hanging bridges over the river also have a special appeal. Learn about mountain herbs and flowers in the Juliana Alpine Botanical Garden.
