International Carnival Parade in Ptuj

February 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., Ptuj streets and squares

A vibrant festival scene with people in traditional fur costumes and colorful headpieces. Text reads, "Best Cultural Heritage Town in Europe, Ptuj." Festive and lively atmosphere.

Reserve your time for the highlight of Kurentovanje today!

The streets and squares of Ptuj will be flooded with a parade of thousands of carnival masks and traditional characters who will tell stories about the past, the future, and the present.

The parade will be followed by entertainment with live music and a DJ in the Town Square.

From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Kurent Market in the Main Square invites you to enjoy culinary delights, souvenirs, and a variety of activities for the whole family.

Between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., don't miss the Carnival Ringaraja with a variety of activities for children.

For a carefree Kurentovanje experience, we recommend that you also book your accommodation.
