Following the emerald green Soča river upstream, you will reach the Soča Valley, which is a paradise for lovers of the great outdoors. Alternatively, you can go south: just 15 km from Brda lies Nova Gorica, poetically called the town of young people, from where you can venture over to another wine region, the Vipava Valley.
