Igor Stravinsky: l'histoire du soldat

Igor Stravinsky: l'histoire du soldat

The program traverses the diverse musical worlds of the 20th century. Piazzolla’s Four Seasons in Buenos Aires captures the pulse of the Argentine capital, Hosokawa’s Concerto for Trumpet and Orchestra In the Mist explores the fusion of the soloist with the soundscape, while Bernstein’s Sonata for Clarinet and Piano reveals the composer’s early stylistic diversity. The evening concludes with Igor Stravinsky’s famous The Soldier’s Tale, in which music, words, and dance rhythms intertwine. The performers of this evening’s program bring together a group of top-tier chamber musicians and educators.
