The magical ice rink in Maribor

Next to Maribor Castle, on Freedom Square, the Magic Ice Rink will open its doors again this year, where Maribor residents and visitors can enjoy winter fun until February.

Nighttime ice skating scene in a town square. Skaters glide under glowing blue and white lights. Festive trees and historic buildings in the background create a cozy, joyful atmosphere.

Ice rink opening hours:

Monday–Thursday: 2:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.

Friday: 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.

Saturday: 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.

Sunday: 10:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.

Holidays and vacations: 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.

Last admission is one hour before closing.

For a complete skating experience, skates are available for rent, and a variety of food and beverages are available at the ice rink.
