Permanent ethnological exhibition by Pavel Medvešček - Klančar at Dvorec Vogrsko.

As part of GO! 2025 official programme, Dvorec Vogrsko (Vogrsko Manor) will host permanent ethnological exhibition by Pavel Medvešček - Klančar from 23 April 2025 to 30 August 2026.

The exhibition displays the legacy of our ancestors who lived in close contact with nature and revealed the ancient wisdom and knowledge that we are searching today. The preserved objects are physical testimonies of the Staroverci lifestyle in hard-to-reach and poor places, where they lived off their land and nature. For fifty years, Pavel Medvešček explored these secluded and hard-to-cross places, writing down the stories of his uncles in Soča Valley who remained on their land after the war, and preserved so much material that the Staroverci lifestyle has survived to this day, all of which he saved and later described in his books. The ethnological collection includes more than 500 objects from the Central Soča Valley, Čepovan, Cerkno Hills region, Idrija and Brkini. The preserved heritage testifies to the fact that living in harmony with nature is full of knowledge and knowledge, preserving our ethnic identity.

The exhibition will open on 23 April 2025 at 18:00.
