The Ribnica Fair offers a unique fair experience every year, as it takes place on the open streets of downtown Ribnica. It offers visitors a full day of mingling, where socialising intertwines with professional and commercial interactions in various ways, while we primarily showcase the skills of our renowned master craftsmen and highlight their important social and economic role. For this very reason, the Ribnica Fair is an ethnological gem in Slovenia, with no other event comparable to it in terms of the number of exhibitors and the size of the open fairgrounds. The fair is never the same, as the bustling atmosphere cannot be recreated; instead, it is born anew time and again, yet retains its charm. With it, it attracts more than 30,000 visitors every year.
