On September 30, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the valley of the Kolpa river, filtering in Osilnica, the fourth recreational bicycle ascent to Strma Reber, named "Uphill to Strma Reber", will take place. The event, which is reserved for those who are in good physical condition, will take place along the "Medvedje Črevo", an 8,400 m long course marked by 19 serpentines at an angle of 180°.
After overcoming 720 m of height difference, with an average gradient of 8.8%, and a maximum gradient of 17%, we are greeted by magnificent views of the entire Osilnica valley at the top of the 993 m high Strma Reber pass. Do you dare?
On the day of the event, registration will take place at the Osilnica Municipality building, and the start of the ascent will be 300 m towards the national border.
