The 53rd Festival of National Costumes and Clothing Heritage in Kamnik

The 53rd Festival of National Costumes and Clothing Heritage in Kamnik

More than just a festival, Dnevi narodnih noš in oblačilne dediščine is a celebration of Slovenian identity, craftsmanship, cultural diversity, and a heritage that brings people together.

In the heart of Kamnik, tradition and modernity, local and international influences will once again intertwine — through a rich market of local crafts and artisanal products, presentations of traditional craftsmanship, local culinary providers, culinary workshops, music, dance, and the genuine joy of all those who believe in the importance of preserving cultural heritage.

From September 11 to 13, 2026, Kamnik will once again come alive in the spirit of rich cultural heritage as it hosts the 52nd Dnevi narodnih noš in oblačilne dediščine — the largest ethnological festival in Slovenia. A new feature of this year’s festival is the introduction of a central festival region, which will change every year. Through this initiative, we aim to encourage cooperation, connection, and a deeper understanding of national costumes and clothing heritage from all parts of Slovenia.

You are warmly invited to Kamnik.
