Miha Kralj, electronic music

In the late nineteen seventies, Miha Kralj developed a distinctive electronic language that profoundly influenced Slovenian music. With his album Andromeda released in 1980, the first electronic album in the former Yugoslavia, he opened a new chapter in regional musical creativity. His sound world, marked by vivid imagery and a forward looking spirit, resonated both at home and abroad and became part of collective memory.

In the late 1970s, Miha Kralj redefined the Slovene music scene as an electronic pioneer. In 1980, he released Andromeda, the first electronic album in the former Yugoslavia, featuring the iconic "spacey" track famously associated with Planica's ski flying. Though compared to Jean-Michel Jarre, Kralj’s introspective style remains unique. This concert is a rare chance to experience the visionary artist who gave the local sonic landscape a brand-new, previously unimagined dimension.
