Ljubljana trophy parallel slalom and SUP challenge

The Parallel Slalom and SUP Challenge for the Ljubljana Trophy will bring the Ljubljanica River in the center of Ljubljana to life. The location in front of Čevljarski Most (Shoemaker’s Bridge) in the old town is ideal for an exhibition performance by topathletes. Invited elite competitors will take part in the parallel slalom, including medalists from World Championships and the Olympic Games. Competitors race on two parallel courses and switch courses in the second run. The better result from the two runs advances to the next stage of the competition. The SUP Challenge, with a mass start of all competitors, takes place on a circular course between the bridges.

The Parallel Slalom and SUP Challenge for the Ljubljana Trophy is an event that combines two sports disciplines. In the parallel slalom, two competitors race against each other on parallel courses with seven gates. The better result from the two runs advances to the next stage of the competition. In the SUP Challenge, competitors race on a circular course between the bridges. The start is simultaneous for all competitors.
