ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup

At the 2026 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup race, the best kayakers and canoeists from more than 35 countries from all continents will compete in Ljubjana at the Tacen Kayak Centre. The competitive part of the event will take place from 29–31 May 2026. The competition will be accompanied by a series of side events, beginning with an exhibition parallel slalom on the Ljubljanica River on 26 May 2026, followed by a program for spestators at the Tacen Kayak Centre.

Canoe Slalom World Cup competitions at the Tacen Kayak Centre have been a traditional part of the ICF calendar for more than 35 years. From 29–31 May 2026, more than 200 competitors from 35 countries will compete in Ljubljana at the he internationally renowned Tacen whitewater course. The program will start on Tuesday, 26 May 2026 with an exhibition parallel slalom on the Ljubljanica River in front of the Cobblers’ Bridge, featuring invited top kayakers and canoeists.
