Marko Šajn: Tempo, tempo

Marko Šajn: Tempo, tempo

Presented within the framework of LUV FEST, the exhibition resonates with the festival’s core idea: love for fellow humans, interpersonal relationships, and collaborative creation. Šajn’s faceless figures encourage visitors to consider human connections and tensions that shape us, creating a space for empathy, reflection, and shared emotional experience.

Abstract artwork depicting an embracing group. Simplified figures in blue, black, and gray set against an orange background convey warmth and unity.

Marko Šajn, a representative of the younger generation of Slovenian artists, explores human relationships, tensions, and open-ended situations through his body of work, which includes painting, drawing, graphic art, spatial installations, and sculpture. His simplified, typified figures without facial features, placed in empty, abstracted spaces, act as signs that invite viewers to reflect and interpret.

The exhibition is curated by Adrijan Praznik.
