The Superclass of Garment Construction and Sewing

SUPERCLASS offers a comprehensive approach, guiding you from the basics to finished products, suitable for both beginners and those with more experience. The course includes pattern making, sewing, or both, with the option to advance with follow-up programs for deeper knowledge.

SUPERCLASS is designed to be comprehensive and systematic. It approaches clothes making from the beginning, and takes you to the finished products in a simple and understandable way. It is a source of broad sewing knowledge and everything you need for independent clothes making.

SUPERCLASS consists of two parts: pattern construction and sewing. The two parts complement each other and provide a rich and wide foundation for all your future sewing projects.

You will learn: introduction to pattern construction, obtaining body measurements, step-by-step pattern drafting of women’s, men’s, sleeve, collars, skirt and trouser base patterns, modification of patterns based on the design and fabric cutting. How to use a sewing machine, basic stitches, box pleats, gathering, zipper insertion, pocket, hemming, facing. In the end you will know how to make a garment of choice from scratch - pattern placement, fabric cutting, construction and final fitting of a garment.
