Toplice Apple Festival is a traditional cultural event, which traditionally takes place every year on the third weekend in October, when we celebrate autumn and its rich gifts, especially the mighty apple.
Many traditional activities take place at this event, including an exhibition of apples and beekeeping content, an exhibition and determination of mushrooms, an apple strudel baking competition and a honey-apple kettle cooking competition, a selection of the "best crops" and the "heaviest apple", guessing the weight of the pumpkin, creative workshops and corners, a farmer's and handicraft fair etc.. This year, slovenian band Čuki will provide live music.
