Girls want to have fun – and enjoy a relaxing spa break
Ladies, do you know that feeling when you’ve had enough of everything? Work, family, chores, hobbies, meetings... Oh, if there was only a break button you could press! Just so you can breathe a little. Well, we have good news for you. You can find it at some of Slovenia’s spas! Call your girlfriends and treat yourselves to a relaxing getaway from your daily responsibilities and stress. Just for you.
Girltime at Terme Krka
Terme Krka was one of the first spas to think of women. They designed a package called Girls, Let’s Go Our Way, giving you everything that women need for a relaxing break – unique massages, unlimited access to pools and saunas, fun animation programmes, delicious local food, practical gifts and more. Well, almost everything. All you need is your girlfriends, high spirits and some funny anecdotes to make your girls’ weekend getaway even more perfect.
Terme Ptuj knows that women deserve special attention, turning Cinderellas into real princesses with their royal treatment. You will stay in a luxurious apartment with a jacuzzi and a terrace overlooking Ptuj, relax in the themed wellness rooms with private baths and saunas, rejuvenate yourselves and tickle your taste buds with the culinary delights of Ptuj and the surrounding area. You can also venture out to explore the oldest Slovenian town and enjoy some relaxing activities together.
We know that it is sometimes difficult to take more time to yourself. But even if you only have a day or a few hours to spare, you and your girlfriends can treat yourselves to some pampering at Thermana Laško. A combination of swimming, wellness back massage and an amiable chat can be just what you need to catch your breath before the new tasks that await you.
A weekend of girl talk and pampering at Terme Zreče
Sometimes it doesn’t take much for your everyday worries to seem ever so small. Just a relaxed chat with your girlfriends and the feeling that you are not alone. But why not treat yourself to something more? You deserve it. And you can get it at Terme Zreče, where the staff will make sure that you relax and experience the small joys of life. Swimming in pools, relaxation in the Sauna Village and Thai massages are only a small part of what awaits you on your girls’ weekend.
Stop saying you don’t have time. You can always find time for the Ayurvedic pampering with friends package, appreciating the sound and smell of the sea. Invite your girlfriends and enjoy a gentle Ayurveda massage and steam bath, which will give you all a chance to catch up in peace. For the final touch, treat yourselves to a massage bath with essential oils and a glass of sparkling wine.
In addition to all the packages for women, you can also go on a weekend break with your girlfriends to other spas. The staff there will make sure that you not only relax, but feel beautiful and healthy in your skin.
Explore the world of unique saunas
What style sauna do you prefer – Finnish, Turkish or infrared? Those, however, are not your only options at Slovenian spas and health resorts. You can spice up your sauna visit with the scents of beneficial herbs, salt peelings, and honey or even chocolate wraps. Perhaps you prefer the beneficial play of light and ions. Explore and choose a sauna to your liking.

It is said that beauty comes from within. Having a clean and neat appearance, however, also strengthens our self-confidence and makes us feel better. Beauty centres at Slovenian spas have different ways of helping you fall in love with your appearance and making you shine.
In Slovenia, it’s possible to be pampered with beer. Or honey. Or you can opt for salt. Perhaps you’d prefer to enjoy the advantages of glacial water. Discover special wellness experiences in Slovenian spas and the best wellness centres where you can indulge in the heavenly pampering of body and soul.
Some believe that the skin benefits most from things that you can eat. At Slovenian spas and wellness centres you can enjoy special pampering treatments with ingredients that you would usually expect to see on your plate or in your glass.
Do you want to completely relax in a spa while not completely neglecting your daily activities? Combine the two and visit a spa that, in addition to relaxation, offers you a wide range of various activities.
We believe that you won’t run out of words when you enjoy the time with your girlfriends at the spa. But in case you do run out of topics, you can discuss the unique vacation packages that you can experience in the future, be it by yourselves, as a couple or with your family.

General rules of application
Registration is required to use the Media Library’s services. Registration is available to any legal entity in the Republic of Slovenia and abroad, regardless of their legal form, whose activities involve marketing, promoting and presenting Slovenia as a tourist destination.
Photos and audio-visual recordings (hereafter: materials) may be used free of charge for all non-commercial publications that constitute promotion of Slovenia as a tourist destination, abroad or in the Republic of Slovenia, in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions.
The right to use the materials is not limited in terms of time or place (the use is permitted in Slovenia and other countries) unless a restriction relating to location and duration of use is specifically provided for an individual item of material.
The Slovenian Tourist Board reserves the right to revoke a user’s right to use certain materials at any time.
The rights acquired based on these General Terms and Conditions may not be transferred to third parties.
Citing the source and authorship
Photos and audio-visual recordings may only be used with consistent citation of author/co-authors and source: www.slovenia.info.
Rights of use
A registered user of the Media Library shall obtain the following non-exclusive economic rights to use the downloaded photos and audio-visual recordings:
the right of reproduction and distribution,
the right of making available to the public,
the right of public presentation,
the right of including photos in other copyright work.
The above rights refer to all forms of non-commercial and free-of-charge online posts, print media, audio-visual media services and other communication channels, regardless of the type of media (print, digital), which includes:
Digital catalogues, e-magazines, newsletters (solely for the purposes of free distribution);
Publication in print and other media that report on the Slovenian tourism products and services or promote Slovenia as a tourist destination;
Use on social media as part of organic posts (reporting on an event, press releases (solely unpaid posts);
Printed promotional materials, prospectuses, leaflets, brochures (solely for the purposes of free distribution);
Promotional events in the Republic of Slovenia and abroad (e.g., tourism fairs, exchanges, workshops, presentations, etc.) that are exclusively or predominantly intended to promote Slovenia as a tourist destination.
The above forms of use include solely a free-of-charge form of using materials for the purposes of promoting tourism activities and services in the Republic of Slovenia or presenting Slovenia as a tourist destination.
Prohibited forms of using materials/commercial use of materials
Using materials for commercial purposes, such as reproduction on postcards, T-shirts, books, magnets, embedding audio-visual inserts in one’s own promotional materials, all forms of external advertising (stationary billboards, digital advertising, etc.), use in advertisements unrelated to the promotion of Slovenia as a tourist destination, use on websites that are not intended to present Slovenian tourism products and services and similar activities, is not included in these General Terms and Conditions and is prohibited.
It is strictly prohibited to use materials on media and distribution channels that are marketed or sold to users (books, school textbooks, other commercial publishing, calendars, postcards, fast-moving consumer goods (clothes and other products), advertising of non-tourism products and services, reproduction of materials on vehicles, etc.).
Using audio-visual materials is allowed only in the unchanged form available in the Media Library. Transformations, adaptations, clips, embeddings, and instances of using individual shots in one’s own audio-visual works, even if intended for promotional purposes, is prohibited.
Breaches of General Terms and Conditions
Any breach of economic and/or moral rights of the authors of photographs or audio-visual recordings may constitute a criminal offence and may result in substantive and damage liability of the user.
The entity breaching copyright pertaining to the material shall reimburse the Slovenian Tourist Board for all the damage incurred to it due to the breach of rights.
The Slovenian Tourist Board shall not be liable for any use of photos and video recordings that is contrary to these rules. The user of the material shall be entirely responsible for the content and manner of use.
General provisions

These General Terms and Conditions shall be subject to occasional amendments. Upon the user’s publication of the material, the version of the General Terms and Conditions that is current at that particular time shall apply for the use of materials.
