Themed trails = the best school in nature

Do you like to walk and at the same time learn something interesting about the environment through which a trail takes you? If so, then themed trails that bring you closer to the natural and cultural features of an individual area in an interesting way offer the perfect choice for you. Especially if you’re wondering how to convince your children to go on a nature walk or teach them something new.

Slovenia has over 5,000 kilometres of themed and walking trails, spread throughout the country. Every year, the Tourist Association of Slovenia, Slovenian Forest Service and the Slovenia Outdoor portal present a selection of Top Themed Trails. Here are some trails where you will learn many new things and enjoy every step.
