For healthy years
When the school holidays are over and children are back in school, it’s time for a more peaceful getaway in the spas. This is a time when seniors work on their health and wellbeing. But tranquillity does not equal boredom. You can fill your day with the wide variety of workout classes, therapies, pampering, activities in nature, animation programmes and trips. Make your autumn years healthy and vital in Slovenia’s natural spas.
There are many reasons for visiting Slovenian spas. We listed some of the most popular reasons why seniors like spas.
Healthy thermal and mineral water
Slovenia is exceptionally rich in thermal springs. In a relatively small area, you’ll find mineral and thermal waters, each with its own distinct chemical structure. There is mineral water with the highest concetration of magnesium in the world, water with a high concentration of C02, the beneficial black thermal mineral water and paraffin water. Each can pave your way to health and wellbeing.
You will receive holistic consultations from various experts who will help you design the optimal plan for you to be healthy. Professional and experienced doctors and therapists will give you a health check and based on your results, they will recommend the most appropriate therapy and pampering programmes. Nutritionists will help you create a healthy meal plan and fitness instructors will make sure you enjoy a variety of activities.
Guided activities and trips
One way to be healthy is through exercise. You can join water workout classes in the thermal swimming pools. If you like excercising outdoors, you can choose guided hikes with Nordic walking poles or you can go biking. In the surrounding area, you will find many places of interest that you can discover by joining organised trips.
Excellent and healthy food, made with local ingredients
You won’t be pampering just your body and mind, but also your taste buds. At the spa, they will make sure your meals are healthy and balanced as well as adapted to your needs and health conditions. All meals are prepared from tasty and healthy local ingredients. And the gourmets among you will also be glad they came.
You will spend plenty of fun moments in pleasant company at the spa. Many spas organise special musical and cultural evenings, dances and other social events in an intimate circle, intended for the guests of the spa.
