Luka2LakeBled: basketball spectacle on Lake Bled

On 16 September, we were witness to a basketball spectacle at, or more accurately in, Lake Bled. The focus was on the presentation of the new basketball shoe LUKA 2 LAKE BLED, developed in cooperation between Luka Dončić and the legendary Jordan brand. A 3x3 basketball tournament was also held on a floating court in the middle of Lake Bled.

16 September was a special day in Bled  with an unforgettable basketball spectacle that attracted great interest and spread Slovenia's reputation far beyond its borders. The presentation of the Air Jordan LUKA 2 LAKE BLED sneaker was accompanied by an exciting 3x3 basketball tournament on a floating court in the middle of Lake Bled.

This event was not only about the basketball sneaker and basketball, it was also a celebration of Slovenia’s natural beauty and the connection between sport, culture and sustainability. A unique experience in one of Slovenia's most picturesque locations.

A unique opportunity to boost Slovenia's visibility

The Slovenian Tourist Board (STO) was a key partner in this event, which provided a unique opportunity to increase Slovenia's visibility around the world.

LUKA 2 LAKE BLED sneakers bear the essence of Slovenia deep within their DNA. The new shoe line is his homage to Slovenia and extends beyond a name; the sneakers are characterized by a symphony of colours that evoke the vivid landscapes of Slovenia. Over 20% recycled material finds its place within the fabric of these sneakers, which mirrors Slovenia's sustainability focus and further cements the connection between athlete, brand, and nation.
