Even if you haven't brought your bicycle along, you can hire it with the help of a bike hire system which is available in many places.

You don’t have a bicycle? That’s OK! Hire one!

If you like to explore towns and cities in your own way, hire a bicycle at one of the stations of the public bicycle hire system and take a ride through city streets and squares. An increasing number of Slovenian towns are introducing an automated normal and electric bicycle hire system. In order to enjoy a ride around Ljubljana, sign into the BicikeLJ system and use the code provided to hire a bicycle at one of the system’s stations. Tour Maribor and its surrounding area on electric bicycles which can be hired through the OVeNtura system through an application. You can also explore Kranj by using KR s kolesom, which is the name of Kranj’s bicycle hire system. Novo Mesto introduced the Gonm system, while the KolesCE system is dedicated to bicycle hire in Celje, for which you can register through the Nextbike application. Take a ride through Ravne na Koroškem using bicycles from the Picikl systemBicycles are also available for hire in a more conventional way at Tourist Information Centres and with other providers.
