Slovenia is home to more than a dozen sports airfields catering for both powered flying and gliding. Many offer scenic flights, giving you a bird's-eye view of the spectacular landscapes below. From the air, you can admire Slovenia's highest peak, Mount Triglav, the iconic Lake Bled, the Adriatic Sea, the capital Ljubljana and many other cities and towns. Some airfields also offer aircraft hire, including light aircraft and gliders. A number of flying schools and clubs provide pilot training for powered aircraft, microlights and gliders, as well as skydiving courses.
