Presentation

Under Obla Gorica, a forested glacial moraine ridge, the Radovljica swimming pool was built to designs by architect Ivan Vurnik in 1933. The swimming centre has changed and developed over the decades since, but today it has grown into a modern and attractive sports-recreational and tourist complex that meets modern standards, promoting the high-quality future development of sports activities and tourism. The swimming centre has three swimming pools and a well-maintained campsite. In the immediate vicinity, there is a diverse sports infrastructure and one of the most beautiful mediaeval old towns. The complex consisting of three pools enables a variety of activities for individual sports, such as swimming, para swimming, distance swimming, synchronised swimming, water polo, triathlon and diving.
