Presentation

Planica, the site of world records, hosts World Cup competitions in ski jumping and ski flying, as well as World Cup competitions in cross-country skiing. The ski jumps and ski-flying hill, as well as cross-country skiing trails, are next to the centre, which has an underground snow tunnel for cross-country skiing and curling tracks even in the summer. Athletes can fly in a vertical and horizontal wind tunnel. Within the center is a sports hotel with a gym, fitness room, altitude rooms and a regeneration program.

The mountain sports centre is a venue for international alpine ski races in winter and a valley of outdoor activities all year round. Close to the famous record-breaking flying hill, the Planica Nordic Centre features a snow tunnel, altitude rooms and other facilities, also in the summer.
