Since the mid-20th century, the legendary Tivoli Hall has hosted world and European championships in basketball, hockey, gymnastics, table tennis and figure skating. Today, in addition to all the facilities for major sporting events, it also houses the premises of sports clubs and Slovenian sports federations. In addition to the "ice" hall, Tivoli Hall also houses a smaller hall, primarily used for ball sports.
