The second edition of I Feel Slovenia Ironman 70.3 is almost here!

On 22 September, Slovenia will host one of the most difficult triathlon competitions – I Feel Slovenia Ironman 70.3. This is a Half Ironman and at the same time the only event of this kind within a 250-kilometre radius. Like last year, it will take place in the picturesque Slovenian Istria. The competitors are professionals and amateurs alike, to whom Ironman presents a unique challenge to exceed their own limitations.

A challenging course through old towns, picturesque villages and nature with magnificent views. Four beautiful coastal cities, Koper, Izola, Piran and Ankaran, will host athletes and their supporters, offering a distinct Mediterranean experience each with their own unique attractions and charms.

The most daring triathlon competitors will first dive into the sea in Koper. After swimming 2 km, they’ll hop on their bicycles and cover 90 km across the inland areas of Koper and Izola, amongst beautiful Istrian villages, olive groves, and vineyards. Finally, they’ll run through picturesque coastal towns, covering a distance of 21 km.

Regardless of whether you're competing at the event, cheering on the competitors, or just happen across it, you’re sure to have an incredible weekend from 20 to 22 September, which won’t just feature this exciting competition, but other accompanying events you’ll also be able to enjoy.

Slovenia is a country of supreme sportspeople. Its athletic heart also beats in the chests of many Slovenians, who are becoming increasingly involved in sports, at least recreationally. Some of the most popular and mass activities include hikingcycling, and running. Our green country offers more than 10,000 kilometres of marked hiking trails, 14 cycling destinations, opportunities for exploring the subterranean world, and adrenaline-filled adventures in crystal-clear rivers or high above the ground.
