Photo contest #SloveniaOnBike

Photo contest #SloveniaOnBike is looking for all kinds of cycling and biking moments in Slovenia. Share your photos of road cycling, mountain biking, family or city cycling on Instagram with hashtag #SloveniaOnBike. We are rewarding moments that represent Slovenia and its cycling & biking delights! At least 12 finalists will be published on a Photo Exhibition and receive great prizes!

Trans Julius is a team of cycling & biking enthusiasts who create a wide range of activities to promote cycling & biking in Slovenia. “This year we put all our effort to show thee cycling & biking world on digital channels what Slovenia has to offer. And the best way to do that is to support and motivate Slovenians who love to ride to show their experiences. Co-presidents of the jury are two Slovenian photographers who have international reputation of their work - Arne Hodalič and Samo Vidic. With the other members of the jury they will select at least 12 finalists who will be presented at photo exhibition #SloveniaOnBike opening on Saturday, June 22 in Bohinj as part of mountain bike adventure Trans Julius 2019,” explains Vesna Stanić from Trans Julius.

From 1-31 May 2019, you are required to post a biking or cycling photo(s) on Instagram with a hashtag #SloveniaOnBike. The photos has to be taken in Slovenia from as earliest as the 1st January 2018.

If you don't have Instagram profile, you can apply for the photo contest with sending your photo on email ride@trans-julius.com (when applying please write your first & second name, email, location and date of the photography). 

What kind of photos have a chance to win?

The moments that you don't want to forget and that can inspire others to ride bikes - in the city or in the nature, on a road bike or mountain bike, with family or your besties, recreational or professional biking & cycling.
