Make new memories in the Mediterranean and Karst Slovenia!

This time, we head south, to the mysterious Karst and the salty Mediterranean. Discover hidden corners of the area with us & follow us on our social media channels for inspiration.

Make new memories in the Mediterranean and Karst Slovenia!

The spring edition of the Make new memories and share them with us Campaign covers the Slovenian Mediterranean and Karst. The Slovenian Tourist Board encourages both locals and visitors from abroad to publish their photos and video content on social networks with the hashtag #ifeelsLOVEnia and add the location where the photo was taken. This year, users of social networks have already posted as many as 290,984 photos and videos from Slovenia that included #ifeelsLOVEnia hashtag.

The campaign will this year takes place in four waves, with each one being dedicated to one of the four macro regions. The first wave already took place: it covered the Alpine Slovenia and ended on March 31. Immediately after that, the campaign in Mediterranean & Karst Slovenia has started, which will take place until May 19. In the seven weeks of the campaign, all leading participating destinations will be highlighted in the rubric Hidden corners of Slovenia: Portorož – Piran, Ankaran, Izola, Brda, Karst, Nova Gorica and Vipava Valley and Koper. Each week, the best posts will also be selected.

The national promotional campaign takes place on the currently most important communication channels, i.e. social networks (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube), and the central Slovenian tourist portal www.slovenia.info. The launch of the campaign was on 6 June 2018 and ever since the STB recorded excellent responses from the social media network users: the total number of posts using the #ifeelsLOVEnia hashtag has already reached 1,283,760 posts and 186 million users worldwide.
