The First InstaMeet is here!

The first InstaMeet this year, organized by the Slovenian Tourist Board, starts today! There will be as many as six Instagramers joining the tour. They come from the Netherlands, Italy, France and Denmark. During their visit, they will get to know the diversity of Slovenia and share their unforgettable moments with their followers. 

The tour starts in Ljubljana - some of them will arrive early enough to catch a sunset over the Ljubljana Marshes, included on the UNESCO Heritage List. The tour of Slovenia will continue on Saturday, where they will participate in the European Food Summit and have a chance to visit the pre-opening of the famous Open Kitchen. Afterwards, their journey continues towards the coast, where they will have a chance to make some snapshots of Piran and the cliffs of Strunjan. This will be followed by the visit to Lipica, Goriška Brda and further on to the Soča River Valley, the home of the picturesque emerald green river. But that’s not all – diversity of Slovenia has many faces: on Monday, they will explore Kranjska Gora, Bled and Bohinj and continue towards the eastern part of Slovenia, to Maribor and to the far north-eastern part of Slovenia, Prekmurje, where their tour of Slovenia ends with the charming views of the rolling vineyards.
