Make new memories in Thermal Pannonian Slovenia & Maribor

The Slovenian Tourist Board continues with the promotion of Thermal Pannonia Slovenia and Maribor. 

Make new memories in Thermal Pannonian Slovenia & Maribor

The autumn-winter part of the national campaign Make new memories in Slovenia and share them with us #ifeelsLOVEnia will run until 2 December. Within the frame of campaign, 38 best Instagram posts were selected, and a survey of the most photogenic photographic locations in the eastern part of Slovenia was carried out. Until now, our online shared posts calculator has counted almost 900,000 shared moments with #ifeelsLOVEnia hashtag.

Autumn part of the Make new memories in Slovenia campaign

Photos speak louder than words. This is why a great emphasis is given on promoting Slovenia through social media platforms which put photos into the forefront and encourage social (digital) interaction. One of the numerous STB’s projects in the fields of digital communication is the Make new memories in Slovenia campaign. Currently, the autumn-winter part of the national digital campaign takes place. It encourages Slovenians as well as foreign visitors to share their photos and videos made in Slovenia and use #ifeelsLOVEnia hashtag. The autumn part of the campaign which will run until 2 December, focuses on Thermal Pannonian Slovenia and the city of Maribor.

11 leading destinations from the area, which are exposed on our webpage on a weekly basis, actively participate in the project. At the end of the campaign, the authors of the selected photographs and videos will participate in the draw for two main prizes: a weekend package for two at Terme Čatež and a weekend package for two at Rimske terme

Instagram photo contest

In September and October, the Slovenian Tourist Board carried out an Instagram photo competition, which encouraged visitors to share their photos from Thermal Pannonian Slovenia online and use #ifeelsLOVEnia. The users took part in the competition by using two hashtags on Instagram: #ifeelsLOVEnia and #natecajSTO. Among more than 1,000 participants, the jury selected 38 best photos, which will be purchased and made available for use in the media library.

Research of the most photogenic photographic locations in the eastern part of Slovenia

The campaign also included a case study of the most photogenic locations In the eastern part of Slovenia. Carried out in September in cooperation with IGslovenia community, the study resulted in identifying 161 most photogenic locations in Thermal Pannonian Slovenia and the city of Maribor. The research was carried out for the purpose of collecting and producing high-quality photos in the coming year, which will be available at our webpage.
