Discover Slovenia with Wine Dine & Travel Magazine
The summer edition of the Wine Dine & Travel Magazine is full of summer fun - 198 pages of travel stories with destinations around the world. In this issue, you'll find the first of the Discovery Series. Discovering Slovenia explores our beautiful country from the Alps to the Adriatic Sea.
Journalist Ron James spent six days in a traveller’s paradise, Slovenia. In cooperation with the Slovenian Tourist Board, he prepared a 80-page spread for Wine Dine & Travel Magazine with travel ideas, a short background of the sites, recommendations for accommodation and restaurants, short interviews with the locals, and a lot of pictures that tempt you to visit our beautiful country.
In addition to popular tourist attractions, such as the capital Ljubljana, Lake Bled, the coastal town of Piran, Postojna Cave and Lipica Stud farm, the team also visited the stunning alpine town of Radovljica; the Tolmin gorges which are the lowest entrance point to the Triglav National Park; Žice charterhouse, the oldest Carthusian monastery and the oldest pharmacy in Slovenia; and Slovenske konjice with vineyards and romantic hills.
You can read the online article Discovering Slovenia, and explore our green, active and healthy country on your own.
