The most prominent global media about Slovenia

In the framework of the Slovenian Tourist Board's (STB) content marketing of this year's digital campaign, Slovenia is being recognised by global media and their journalists.

El Mundo is known as the most popular newspaper in Spain. Two days after an article about Slovenia was released in the Spanish media, the STB recorded over 5 million impressions and over 23,000 readings, which exceeded the expected results.

The most famous British medium, the BBC, describes Slovenia as the green heart of Europe and a paradise for all who love nature. Readers are invited to the Triglav National Park, the Logarska dolina Valley, Postojna Cave and other gems. Ljubljana is pointed out as the ultimate green city break destination, where you can get free drinking water from every public drinking-fountain, rubbish is practically non-existent, and the centre is completely closed to motor vehicles.

This summer is extremely successful for Slovenia in the field of content exposure, as the most influential media such as Vogue, the Wall Street Journal and Condé Nast Traveller have all written about our green, active and healthy land. The articles and exposure are a result of activities carried out in the area of foreign PR, and in the context of digital content advertising made by the Slovenian Tourist Board. The media coverage is also expanding to the CNN portals in USA, Focus in Germany, Kleine Zeitung in Austria, Onet and Newsweek in Poland.
