Slovenia in Seven Days by Mountain Biking UK

“Slovenia in Seven Days” was published in one of the most popular biking magazines in the world, the British magazine Mountain Biking UK. It introduced seven Slovenian biking destinations, discovering amazing possibilities for lovers of mountain biking. “The hospitality is amazing, as are the mountains, the trails and all the possibilities for the development of mountain biking in Slovenia,” commented James McKnight on his visit to our green, active and healthy land last September.

A special option for keen mountain bikers, which is not described in the article, is also the Koroška region on the eastern edge of the Slovenian Alps. Here, you can try out a private single trail park and even bike through abandoned mine tunnels. The wooded hills of the Slovenian subalpine region are the most popular among local mountain bikers. Spend the night at the Eco-hotel Koroš, the first mountain bike hotel in Slovenia, established in 1995. They specialise in organised mountain biking tours around Slovenia.
