What's new in 2017?

Green, active and healthy Slovenia finished 2016 with a record number of tourist overnight stays and arrivals and is excited about the news for 2017. In the next few months, Slovenia is expecting new airline routes and new hotels.

What's new in 2017?

New flight connections

At the end of March, Slovenian airline Adria Airways will commence an additional flight connection between the international airport Ljubljana Jože Pučnik and Moscow. Ljubljana and the Russian capital will then be connected almost every day of the week.

From the beginning of April, Ljubljana will also be connected to the Netherlands by a new low cost charter. Transavia will fly from Amsterdam to Slovenia 3 times a week.

New hotels

The Hit Company has opened the new energy-efficient and modern Hotel Mond. The Gaming and Entertainment Centre in Šentilj is located north of Maribor and close to the motorway.

The InterContinental Hotels Group has announced the opening of InterContinental Ljubljana at the end of the summer of 2017. The biggest attraction will be a restaurant on the 21st floor, complete with an outside terrace that will offer panoramic views of the city.
