SIW 2017 – Save the date

This year we have a date in the heart of green, active and healthy Slovenia, in Ljubljana. One of the loveliest European capitals has become a model of urban sustainability, allowing a healthy and pleasant life for both locals and visitors – a consequence of a major green transformation over  the past few years. This includes a city centre closed to motorised traffic, electric public transport in the pedestrian zone, free access to clean drinking water in public fountains, the protection of natural biodiversity, the organisation of large public green areas, and many other projects. All these green efforts were recognised by the European Commission when they awarded Ljubljana with the prestigious title of European Green Capital 2016.

At the Slovenian Incoming Workshop (SIW), successful partnerships  will be enhanced and new contacts made at the workshops, with pre-arranged meetings between Slovenian tourism providers and foreign travel organisers. The event will begin and end with indulgent study tours, marked by green, active and healthy adventures, vineyards, romantic castles and other iconic attractions of Slovenia.
