New car-sharing system at Ljubljana airport
Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport and Avantcar have opened the first electric car sharing station at the biggest Slovenian international airport.

Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport and Avantcar have opened the first electric car sharing station at the biggest Slovenian international airport. The new Avant2Go service will provide users with convenient and more environmentally-friendly transport between the capital and the airport. At the end of the month, the Slovenian airline, Adria Airways, will start operating its winter schedule, which will be in use until the end of March.
The first electric car sharing station outside the Ljubljana area opened at Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport. The new Avant2Go service provides an emission-free connection between Ljubljana, the European Green Capital 2016, and the airport. The car sharing service offers 33 electric cars and charging stations, which are also available for personal cars. Together with 12 other car sharing services around Ljubljana, the Avant2Go service aims to have at least 500 shared vehicles by 2018, thus bringing down the number of vehicles in Ljubljana by several thousand.
In November, the Slovenian airline, Adria Airways, is switching to its winter flight schedule. Until 26th March 2017, Adria will connect Ljubljana with Amsterdam, Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Moscow, Munich, Paris, Podgorica, Prague, Pristina, Sarajevo, Skopje, Tirana, Vienna, Warsaw and Zurich. Visit green, active and healthy Slovenia by plane with one of the 127 weekly flights from European destinations.
