Slovenia is in the spotlight at the World Travel Market in London as an active and sporty destination offering great conditions for outdoor sports, with a modern and diverse infrastructure for athletes in various sporting disciplines. Join representatives of British and global media at the easily-recognisable wooden Slovenian stand at the Slovenian breakfast. The participants will be addressed by Maja Pak, the Director of the Slovenian Tourist Board, Tina Maze, the best female skier in the world, and Luka Špik, Olympic rowing champion.

Don’t miss the Slovenian breakfast with journalists and business partners tomorrow, 8th November at 10:00. This is a great opportunity to network and also meet Tina Maze, World and Olympic champion in female skiing and the best skier in the history of skiing, and Luka Špik, World and Olympic rowing champion.

Welcome to stand EU700 by the main west entrance in Hall N3 at the World Travel Market in London. Green, active and healthy Slovenia is being presented as an active and sporty destination with top class training facilities, excellent climatic conditions and quality services for professional teams which are aiming for world-class achievements. Under the slogan “Slovenia – Sport destination” the Slovenian stand will host several presentations and announce the award for the best article on the subject of Active Slovenia in 2016. Together with the Slovenian Tourist Board, there are 21 partners presenting our active country between the Alps, the Mediterranean, the Karst and the Pannonian Plain: Promet T&T, Kompas, destination Ljubljana, Union Hoteli, Plaza hotel Ljubljana, Sportina Turizem, destination Bled, M Tours, Sava Turizem, Terme Resort, Happy Tours, HIT Alpinea, Travel Agency Renee, Terme Olimia, Postojnska jama, Alpinum Hoteli, Bohinj Eko Hotel, Turizem Bled, Hotel Lek, Travel Agency Palma and destination Kranj.
