The Bled Days are also a time when Bled fills up with tourists. They come to see local arts and crafts products being made and to listen to promenade concerts. Most popular of all, of course, is the traditional Bled Night, when the lake and the castle gleam with light. Boat crews place around 15,000 eggshell lights (made by Andrej Vidic of Bled) on the lake surface; these light up the lake and the surrounding area. Meanwhile, from the castle, a firework display lasting several minutes paints Bled in countless colours.

The Seviqc Brežice Festival is one of the most prestigious festivals of early music in Europe. The programme covers music of the various cultures and styles that appeared in Europe from the 13th to the 19th century. A remarkable feature of this festival is that the music is performed in a historical manner on authentic instruments and with an authentic style of performance. This aspect is also indicated in the motto that gives the festival its name: `SEmper VIva Quam Creata` – music that lives forever just as it was created.
The concerts all take place in venues that are part of Slovenia`s cultural heritage, in historically important locations that are particularly interesting to visitors. The quality of the programme is confirmed by the large numbers of festivalgoers who give themselves over to the pleasures of music every summer.
Over the course of the festival, which runs from 22 June to 4 September, it will be possible to hear 43 concerts in 32 locations spread across 22 municipalities.
