New in the heart of Ljubljana – Cubo Design Hotel

In the midst of summer, the Slovenian capital is not only being characterised by the rich festival activities and the dynamic pulse of tourism but is also embracing an opening of new hotels. During the end of July, the trendy Cubo Hotel opened its doors in the heart of Ljubljana city centre. This hotel is the younger sibling, design-wise, to one of the most recognised and esteemed restaurants in Ljubljana, the Cubo Restaurant.

The Cubo Hotel is distinguished by its excellent location, as all GPS systems lead to the centre of Ljubljana across Trnovska vrata and straight ahead to the hotel, which is located along Ljubljana’s main street, Slovenska cesta, and only a few steps from the old city core and Prešeren Square, which is considered the current centre of Ljubljana. The Cubo Hotel is thus the closest hotel to the famous cultural and meeting centre, Cankarjev dom. At the same time, the hotel is only steps away from the greenery of Zvezda Park and can pride itself on its beautiful view of the old city core and the Ljubljana Castle.

The hotel has 21 double and 3 single rooms as well as 2 suites. The hotel builds its exclusive nature on an individual approach, high quality of service (4*) and carefully chosen furnishings and decor. Its design look is complemented by large beds (189 x 210 cm) and luxurious bed linen and towels by the world-renowned Italian manufacturer Rivolta Carmignani, a company which is known for catering to the best hotels in Europe.

Hotel guests are treated to free gym services, wireless internet, 130 TV channels and 10 minutes of included landline calls to all the EU member states. Their offer is completed by the multipurpose hall for meetings, presentations, lectures, parties and groups, an A la carte restaurant and a day bar. An important feature of the Cubo Hotel is the parking places provided for its guests.

With opening of the Antiq Palace boutique Hotel, which is also located in the heart of the city centre, in February, Ljubljana keeps adding uniqueness in its accommodation facilities. In the last seven years, Ljubljana has increased the number of hotel beds by almost 40 percent, predominantly in smaller hotel facilities that are able to perfectly adapt their offer to the specific needs of individual target groups.
