Slovenia addresses youth worldwide with a new challenge

Following the success of ‘Give me three days of GREEN sLOVEnia’, the Slovenian Tourism Board and the Bank of Tourism Potential in Slovenia have decided to launch a new challenge in the frame of the Challenge Future global open youth competition. This years challenge is ‘Old Stories 4 New Adventures’.

Slovenia addresses youth worldwide with a new challenge

Following the success of ‘Give me three days of GREEN sLOVEnia’, the Slovenian Tourism Board and the Bank of Tourism Potential in Slovenia have decided to launch a new challenge in the frame of the Challenge Future global open youth competition. This year`s challenge is ‘Old Stories 4 New Adventures’.

The challenge ‘Old Stories 4 New Adventures’ invites young people to design attractive tourist products from the stories of Slovenian regions and/or create related marketing activities. The main challenge is in reshaping the old stories and legends into modern products that provide new and fresh experience for tourists.

The following four Slovenian destinations challenge you to design new products and marketing tools:
- Bled (Gorenjska region)
- Ptuj (Ptujsko-ormoška region)
- Solčavsko (Savinjsko-šaleška region)
- Maribor (Štajerska region)

Stories from the destinations at your disposal:
- Alpine Wellness
- Bicka, story of a sheep from Solčava
- Ptuj, treasure of millenia
- The legend of the sunken bell
- The old vine in Maribor

Young people between 18 and 30 years may participate in the challenge. The entire challenge is in English, thus, all further information on the challenge is available on the English BTPS website and/or the official challenge website: C:F Astonishing sLOVEnia - Old stories 4 new adventures.
