The association of Hiking and Cycling has published a new catalogue entitled `Hiking in Slovenia` in cooperation with the Slovenian Tourist Board and destination partnership organisations. The catalogue is available in Slovenian, English, German, Italian and French.

The catalogue includes the most important Slovenian hiking trails and specialised accommodation for hikers, including their offer and special hiking deals. The catalogue also includes some multi-day packages. The presentation of trails in individual destinations includes a detailed description, basic data, location and difficulty level. Moreover, the catalogue also describes events that last several days, such as the Hiking Days within the Slovenia Walks project.

A special feature of the catalogue is that each trail has its QR code. Therefore, the owners of smart phones can search for basic data about the trail, including its description and maps, which can also be downloaded to a phone. The downloaded data directs users to the starting point of the trails, while GPS navigation can also be used along the trail.

The content of the catalogue was supplemented by the Alpine Association of Slovenia with their offer of cartographic material, Garmin and Quo digital electronic maps of Slovenia, while the Nordic Walking Association added their events.
