Specialized hiking and cycling hotels

Slovenia as an active destination at the crossroads of the Alps, the Mediterranean, Karst and Pannonian Plain offers diverse and attractive hiking and cycling possibilities, while hikers and cyclists are accepted by specialized hotels. After walking a long trail, you can find comfortable rest in specialized hiking or cycling accommodation facilities, mostly hotels; on the other hand, the Slovenian mountains are also full of mountain hostels and huts.

Specialised accommodation facilities for hikers are labelled with 1 to 5 hiker symbols. The most basic level of services is offered by facilities with one hiker, while the widest range and highest quality of services are provided by 5-hiker accommodation. Many hotels, hostels and tourist farms in Slovenia provide dedicated services for cyclists. This accommodation is awarded ratings of between one and five bikes.
