Discover Ljubljana and its region with a new mobile app

You can now experience Ljubljana and the region of Central Slovenia with a new acquisition: a free application for smart mobile phones `Visit Ljubljana and more`. The application is an official guide for the region that provides smart phone users an opportunity to explore, in a simple and user-friendly way, the sights, culinary offer, entertainment and other events in the region.

The MyVisit tool also enables the users of the mobile application to create their own visit plan; if you have already generated one on the www.visitljubljana.com website, you can simply synchronize it with the mobile application.

The application enables a simple method of navigation between wanted locations and a view of the tourist points on a map; moreover, it also directs the user through the streets to the selected attraction. The application also provides practical information on tourist information centres, the tourist card and its benefits, tours of the town and trips, free data network WiFree Ljubljana, traffic, post offices, important phone numbers, etc. For a walk past the most important tourist attractions in the centre of Ljubljana, you can also use the free voice guide, which includes 14 interesting sights.

In the narrow Ljubljana centre, you can also synchronize and refresh data without additional costs, since the town wireless network WiFree Ljubljana provides 60 minutes of free Internet access per day. The application is available in different versions for the iOS and Android operational systems and can be freely downloaded through the App Store and Google Play web stores.
