In the westernmost Slovenian village of Robidišče, an organic farm gives a positive experience with wwoofers from all around the world, from Europe to Australia and New Zealand. The global network of WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) exchange includes more and more Slovenian farms.

The currency for payment for a stay at the farm is a priceless experience in authentic contact with locals, nature and animals. In addition to free accommodation and food the farms also allow you the possibility of education about the organic way of life. "Wwoofing" in Slovenia started in 2002 and provides the peculiar green promotion of the country. The WWOOF movement began in 1971 in the United Kingdom. Today it has grown to international dimensions, which allow learning about the way of life in contact with nature and animals. Farms that host volunteers also bridge the lack of seasonal workforce with wwoofing. Besides, it means a great deal to them that they can spread the idea of organic farming, promote a healthy way of life and genuine socialising of different cultures.
