Slovenia an Internet oasis for tourists

The web portal Trivago, one of the biggest search engines and comparison tools for hotel prices around the world, has posted a survey on the accessibility of the Internet in hotel rooms in the thirty most competitive tourist countries, which are included in their search system. Slovenia has reached a high of sixth place on the list with 75.53% of rooms offering the possibility of access to the Internet.

The Trivago portal is also known in tourism for its "Index of hotel prices", which have been monitored for some time. Their business system covers more than 700,000 hotels around the world and includes more than 200 different reservation systems. The portal itself is in fact a searching machine by its nature and only compares the prices of the different reservation systems. The purchase happens with other agents.

The World Wide Web is becoming very important in tourism and elsewhere, especially in business, hence it is very important that tourists have access to the Internet in their hotel rooms. Slovenian hotel managers and other accommodation providers are aware of this fact because we reached a high of sixth place, thus confirming our commitment to hospitality and assistance to our guests.

On the scale beside Slovenia are also the Netherlands in 5th place (77.52%), Canada in 4th (77.98%), Romania in 3rd (78.65%), New Zealand in 2nd (82.28%) and the United States in 1st place (89.09%). Some well developed tourist countries, such as Germany (50.76%), Greece (49.44%), Austria (47.31%), Spain (46.54%) and Portugal (45.21%), qualified in very low positions.
