19th International Internautica will be green

The Slovenian coast will, from 7 to 11 May, be a true oasis for enthusiasts of the nautical world. In Portorož Marina the Internautica will take place, the 19th international boat show, which in this year`s edition pays special attention to green technologies and sea-friendly nautics. Feel the captain in you and visit the Marina!

This year`s Internautica will be in green. This is the introduction of the new nautical culture, which has been prevailing intensively in recent years around the world. Slovenia is the green heart of Europe, and not just because of the many forests and meadows, but also because of environmentally-friendly technologies. The Gorenjska company Seaway is writing a successful story in Slovenian green coloured nautics. In recent years it has become the leading producer of hybrid (motor-electric) drive vessels. Internautica is the most appropriate place to promote a responsible attitude towards nature and the sea. This will be linked to the varied presentation of the Adriatic tourist ports, marinas and popular destinations of nautical tourism.

At this year`s event the premiere official launch of the new nautical school "Green Yachting Academy" will be presented. Its main purpose is to promote the sustainable development of maritime tourism, nautical education and anchoring the green culture, which in the nautical world is called green yachting.

Internautica will be real eye candy for all fans of energy-efficient models of vessels, eco-friendly marine building materials, innovative drive systems and hybrid systems with reduced fuel consumption. Do not miss also the demonstration of electrical vessels, vehicles and aeroplanes, united under the slogan green mobility.
