Garden Village Resort, an eco-tourist village, was opened in June in the vicinity of the famous and fairy-tale location of Lake Bled which has just hosted the first international film festival with the mission of conserving water resources. Pristine nature and wood offer all the luxury that you need during your stay! Innovatively designed Garden Village Resort built over a gardening space now offers an unforgettable stay in the heart of the Alps to modern and eco-conscious guests. In addition, it is almost entirely self-sufficient. This is possible thanks to its own resource of electricity, heat pump for heating, well with drinkable water, charging stations for electric vehicles and a greenhouse. The Garden Village Resort facilitates and encourages the growing of fruit, vegetables, herbs and shrubs. What`s more, guests can visit the local organic store where they can taste and buy home-made jams, juices, healing ointments and other Slovenian products. Slovenian fruit really tastes fresh and delicious and it can make your day! The guests are also able to explore the surrounding sub-Alpine areas with traditional or electric bicycles, which are already included in the price. Upon return, it`s time for a new culinary experience in the Vrtnarija restaurant that offers a unique greenhouse experience. A stream is flowing through the restaurant, and strawberries and tomatoes are growing from the ceiling. Food served in garden restaurant will send you on a roller coaster of flavours, and you can spice up your dishes with fresh herbs grown right on your table.

Garden Village Resort is also a synonym for wellness services. A natural spring with a constant temperature of 15°C and a bubbling brook, which flows directly from Lake Bled and can reach up to 26°C in the summer months are ideal for refreshment. In the village, in addition to their own drinking water there is a special pool offering the Kneipp therapy with reflexology foot massage, a stream with a natural waterfall and swimming pool with `infinity` overflow edge. Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy themselves at the local ponds.

The six tree houses can accommodate up to 4 people. The exterior is simple, while the interior is stylish, designed for comfort and relaxation. The entire complex is made of nature-friendly materials and the wooden surfaces are constructed entirely from local wood, mainly larch. In addition to the tree houses, the village also offers nine adventurous tents on piers located by the stream and fishpond, six air-conditioned glamping tents and two apartments with jacuzzi. It is also a perfect location for honeymooners. Honeymooners can enjoy in a special tree house which is the only tree house in the village with mighty trees growing through the roof where the newly-weds can completely isolate themselves from the surroundings with the help of a special wooden suspension bridge.
